It's Time! 09/07/2010
 
Hello everyone,
 
Just a reminder that dive club begins tomorrow.  The Novice group will begin at 5:15 and go until 6:15.  The JO group will practice from 5:00-6:30.  
 
The September calendar has a couple of changes due to conferences that Coach Lambert and I attend.  This week the JO divers will practice on Tuesday and Wednesday because I will be in Austin at the Texas Interscholastic Swim Coaches Association Conference on Thursday.  The Novice divers will stay with their normal days of Tuesday and Thursday.  Next week both the Novice and JO will practice on Monday and Tuesday due to both of us attending the United States Aquatic Conference in Dallas, therefore neither of us will be in Lubbock on Thursday.
 
The September calendar is up on the website.  Please remember to print it and keep a copy handy.  This will avoid unnecessary trips to the Aquatic Center.
 
Additionally, as was noted in an earlier e-mail, the divers must have a current AAU Diving membership.  The memberships run from September 1st through August 31st.  If you had one from the summer it is no longer valid.  Please print an extra copy and have your diver bring it to practice.  This enable us to allow your child to practice.  You can go to aaudiving.org to register.
